- SOCIOLOGY PRIZE FOR RESEARCH EXCELLENCE
$500 prize for Sociology majors (graduating seniors) for best research paper or critical essay submitted in a Sociology course in this academic year (including 199 courses), and the previous Spring quarter (Spring, Fall 2012 and Winter 2013). Students are nominated by Sociology faculty and TAs (one nominee each, seniors only).
